Guy de Beer is the founder and CEO of Playcast Media Systems, which brings high end games and virtual worlds to the TV through existing cable and IPTV systems. In the past 15 years Mr. de Beer has been pursuing his vision for a new digital medium. Before founding Playcast in 2006, de Beer has managed of Harmonic’s [NASDAQ:HLIT] VoD product lines which has enabled the widespread of VoD in cable systems around the world. Before that, de Beer has held various marketing and business development management positions in MRV [NASDAQ:MRV], a Telecom technology provider. Mr. de Beer is completing his Master’s degree in Philosophy of Information and Digital Culture, in the University of Tel Aviv, Israel, and holds a degree in Media, from the University of Bar-Ilan, Israel.
